What is a hardcover?

A hardcover, also known as a case bound cover, is just like those beautiful books you find in bookstores. It features a strong outer cover made of heavy-duty board, covered in delightful printed paper, and securely encases the inner text pages.

Can I personalise the cover of the diary/journal?

Absolutely! Feel free to check out our artwork template section on this page for some awesome template downloads.

How many pages do they contain?

Our diaries and journals come with a whopping 96 leaves, which means you get a total of 192 sides to bring your creative ideas to life!

Do you offer different inner page styles?

Yes, we do! The 2026 diary pages come as standard with a year-view for 2026 & 2027, a month-view for 2026, including national holidays / important dates, week-view running 1st January 2026 to 4th January 2027, pages for contacts / addresses and lined pages for notes featuring a selection of bank holidays, festivals and national days. For the Journals, all we require is your artwork / design for the cover and we'll do the rest. We provide a variety of inner page options for you to choose from. Take your pick between lined, dotted, or plain inner pages based on your preferences.

Do I have to upload artwork for the inner pages?

No need to worry about uploading artwork for the inner pages. We've got that covered for you! Simply choose the inner page type you prefer, and we'll take care of the rest.

What can I use these for?

Oh, the possibilities are endless! These fantastic organisers are perfect for everything from journaling and note-taking to sketching and scrapbooking. Let your creativity run wild!

Which pens work best with your notebooks?

For the best experience, we recommend using a fine tip pen or a trusty biro on our notebook pages. They glide smoothly and make your writing or drawing truly shine!

What is the paper stock of the inner pages?

Our inner text pages are printed on a high-quality 100gsm uncoated stock, ensuring a delightful tactile experience as you fill them with your brilliant ideas.

Can I order a set of books, each with a different design?

Absolutely! You can order up to 5 different versions. Just select the number of different designs you want from the 'versions' dropdown on the product page.

Sam and the team at SM1 have been amazing both times we've used their printing services. The team has gone above and beyond to help us deliver our events, everyone we have dealt with has been very responsive and helpful. For our last event, Sam helped us sort out some bespoke boxes for a parliamentary hand-in, and found a cost effective and high quality solution for the project. Really appreciate the time and effort SM1 puts into helping their clients, and highly recommend to anyone looking to use their services!

I am extremely impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. The job was, in my opinion, small; they printed my "Father if the Bride" speech, but it was done so well and I am so pleased with the result.
I would recommend SM1 Print Studio to anyone needing any type of print job. Thank you so much.

Highly recommended and I'm so pleased we used SM1 prints for my daughters 1st birthday party decorations. Although it was a small job, Jay, the manager was so professional, friendly and produced beautiful quality prints for us within a very short time. Hassle and stress free from the initial phone call right to collecting the finished items. Great customer service and will definitely use again. Thanks so much!

The team at SM1 Print are fantastic. Always on hand to support with any queries, including bespoke items. For a recent event, we needed many elements including banners, cards, and a pledge pin board. The team delivered on time, in budget and the content was of excellent quality. Thanks as always!
